Thank you for your Queery study. As a gay male, I feel as if my community is neglected in these important mental health studies. Thank you for changing that; you are truly making a difference just by asking questions. Thank you so much! I look forward to future studies.
- Project #Queery participant, age 15
I learned coping methods, and to validate feelings.
- Participant in AFFIRM, age 18
Participating in your Social Work Speaks Out Study was very helpful to me as it makes me feel like I have more support. As lesbian student in a social work program in the South, I feel like my voice is not heard. In fact, professors have talked about reparative therapy as an option for young LGBT people. I hope your survey changes things in Schools of Social Work.
- MSW student, participant in SWSO
This training was excellent because Dr. Craig and Dr. Austin have such strong clinical and research backgrounds and can integrate them. They are also very lively and engaged!

I just wanted to tell you again how appreciative I am of yesterday's presentation. I have heard nothing but positive feedback from our faculty and they can't wait for part two!
